Cable Car Hatyai City

        Cable Car Hatyai City, the first and only one cable car in Thailand located at Hatyai Park.There are 4 stations but now open 2 stations, Station 3 near Statue of Buddha to Station 4 near Statue of Brahma.The distance between 2 stations is about 525 metres.

        There are 2 cable cars, each cable car contain 8 passengers.



   

Cable Car Hatyai City open 9.00 am.- 20.00 pm.

Rates : Adult  100 Baht

Child 50 Baht

Foreigner 200 Baht

Hatyai Park : Park of happiness

        Hatyai Park is located on Khorhong Mountain with an area of approximately 914 acres. There is a pool in the park which has a pavilion to sit and relax and held activities and traditions. You can feed the fish or rent a pedal boat for spectacular view of the pool.

        The north side of the park establish a royal King Rama 5 Monument. On Chulalongkorn Day, officials, traders and public come to laid wreathes.

On the mountain, there are statue of Buddha, statue of Brahma and statue of Guan Yin to worship.
 

The park also have Cable Car Hatyai City, the first cable car in Thailand and Hatyai Deepsky Observation for Science and Astronomy.

Worship Bodhisattva Guan Yin in Hatyai Park.

   
        Bodhisattva Guan Yin in Hat Yai Park on Khorhong  Mountain built with white jade stone. Created by the Mayor of Hat Yai Municipality with the Board of Alderman, officials, merchants and residents, including 13  Foundations in Hat Yai on the occasion of His Majestic the King 50 years on the throne anniversary. Bodhisattva Guan Yin carved by mechanic from China. The body is divided into 8 blocks of white jade stone, 9.9 meter height and 80 tons weight.

Welcome to Hat Yai!

        Hat Yai is a district in Songkhla province.Hat Yai  is the largest city of the southern part of Thailand. It is the center of travel, education and trade. The city is famous in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. By the name "Hat Yai" has also been assumed that the condition of the large white sand beach is located on Klong U-Tapao or may come from a tree name  "Mahatyai".

        Hat Yai is a paradise of shopping. Kim Yong market and Suntisook market  are the markets of various goods. Both at home and abroad on the cheap price. A delicious food of Thai, Chinese and Muslims cuisine have a lot. Nightlife is famous too. There are many attractions and natural attractions nearby and easy reach , such as Tonngachang waterfall, Mice Island and Cat Island, Samila Cape, Songkhla zoo and water parks,  Songkhla Aquarium, Hatyai Deepsky Observation for Science and Astronomy and  Cable Car Hatyai City on Khorhong mountain, which just opened  in 2554. For this reason they mingle with tourists, both Thai and foreign travelers shopping and visit the nearby attractions throughout the year.
